When caring for acute stroke patients, who hasn't wished for an MRI at times? The future of MRI in acute stroke care remains unclear, but more and more research demonstrates that it can be incorporated into care paradigms to enhance safety and identify patients who might benefit from treatment despite unknown last known well times and complicated exams.
